So, basically, this blog is gonna wind up being about costuming, I guess. :) 'Cause, goodness knows, I do enough of that for it to deserve its own space. (Elsewhere on the internet, I have a writing blog and a travel/general purpose blog on Livejournal, though neither of them get posted in as often as I could wish...)
So, yeah. Right now I'm in the process of making a Taichi (Digimon, season 1) costume, and an Idris (Doctor Who, "The Doctor's Wife") costume, and a River Tam (Firefly, Serenity) costume. The second one terrifies me, quite frankly, but I have shoes for it, and a corset for under it, so I'm off to an okay start (bought several yards of fabric for it just a few days ago), and the shorts for Tai are already cut out...though not sewn. River, I'm frightened for, a bit, but mostly because the dress I chose of hers has a lot of specific dye-job requirements, and I'm pants at that.
Um.........yeah, I'm gonna go back to my Project Runway marathon now. :)
